I was born in New Mexico and feel a special bond with the state, its people, cultural diversity and fantastic landscapes. Walking alone through rugged country with outlandishly carved hoodos, wind caves, trees shaped by nature and crumbling mountains is peaceful and for some very spiritual. The smell of chili’s roasting in the fall or piñon wood burning can’t be beat. You can all but point your camera in any direction and capture a Kodak moment.
